Visa Information
Foreign visitors entering India must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after their date of entry into India, except in the case of nationals of Bhutan and Nepal who need only carry suitable means of identification.
Visa Requirements
Visitors to India should ensure that they are in possession of valid Indian Visa before they start their journey to India. You are advised to contact the Indian Embassy / High Commission / Consulate in your country in order to obtain an entry visa. Please apply for your visa in good time. Your travel agent may also be able to help you.
Nationals and/or passport holders from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistan origin, and Stateless persons are required to provide information to the Ministry in the prescribed format given below, three months in advance of the date of travel. This information is to be submitted to the Ministry of Home and Ministry of External Affairs, who in turn will inform the respective Consulates / High Commissions to issue the visas.On receipt of the information, this ministry refers the details of such participants for security vetting to the security agency concerned.On receipt of a no objection from the security agency this ministry communicates the security clearance to the concerned Indian Mision abroad for grant of conference visa to the participant.

The Ministry of External Affairs of India will be notified of the conference, and accordingly the Indian missions in all countries will be in contact with the Ministry of External Affairs.
Visa Fees
Visa fees are non-refundable and subject to change without notice. The High Commission / Consulate reserves the right to grant and decide the type/duration of a visa irrespective of the fees tendered at the time of making the application. Having been granted a visa does not confer the right of entry to India and is subject to the discretion of the Immigration Authorities upon arrival into India.
Visa forms and fees for India vary slightly depending on the country in which the Indian Embassy / Consulate or High Commission is located.

Procedures for obtaining a Visa
Visas can be applied for in person or by post at the High Commission/Consulate of India based in the country from where the candidate intends to depart for India. Specific visas are granted for a variety of purposes, as mentioned below.

(Nationals of Pakistan will require five)
Visa fee
Stamped self-addressed delivery envelope for postal applications.
Conference Secretariat will provide all registered delegates with an Invitation letter and other necessary documents (Copy of the Permissions from Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family).
